Man, WeatherTech must be really trying to get more air time in the WeatherTech Sports Car Championship after their sponsored car left the series. A giant WeatherTech ad was all poor John Pew could see from the cockpit of the No. 60 car, but he tried to drive through it anyway.
After contact with the No. 0 DeltaWing, the No. 60 Michael Shank Racing car plowed right into one of WeatherTech’s trackside advertisements. Clearly not wanting it to hold him up any further, Pew tries to drag the sign down the track until he finally realizes that the sign won’t come off.
The No. 0 was later given a drive-through penalty for the incident.
